General conditions of sale

These general conditions of sale govern the services offered by Excelsior & Courtesy, as part of its activities of private accompaniment, personal assistance, premium mobility, concierge and travel assistance.

Article 1 – Purpose

These General Conditions of Sale govern the services offered by EXCELSIOR & COURTESY, an independent provider specialized in:

  • private support;
  • personal assistance;
  • mobility and travel;
  • logistical assistance;
  • coordination of stays;
  • passenger support;
  • community services;
  • event support;
  • tourism and immersion support.

Services may be provided in France, Monaco, Europe or internationally, subject to availability.

Article 2 – Nature of benefits

Benefits may include:

Personal assistance and support

  • Personal assistant;
  • Individual support;
  • outreach assistance;
  • management of ad hoc needs;
  • logistics coordination;
  • light administrative support;
  • discreet presence;
  • Travel assistance.

Mobility and transport

  • availability of driver/VTC activity according to applicable regulations;
  • airport transfers;
  • hotel transfers;
  • business travel;
  • mobility assistance;
  • accompaniment events;
  • invited transfers;
  • shopping support;
  • Private excursions;
  • Custom circuits.

Stays and residences

  • assistance with secondary residences;
  • assistance villas;
  • arrival/departure coordination;
  • logistics stay;
  • management providers;
  • invited assistance;
  • customer reception;
  • Local coordination.

Travel and international

  • France support;
  • Europe;
  • international;
  • private travel;
  • Immersion voyages;
  • safari;
  • camps;
  • discovery circuits;
  • formal assistance;
  • travel alone;
  • couples;
  • families;
  • Seniors;
  • small groups.

Boating and premium stays

  • boarding assistance;
  • Invited coordination;
  • assistance yacht stays;
  • port transfers;
  • Logistics coordination.

Article 3 – Intervention limits

EXCELSIOR & COURTESY does not exercise:

  • medical activity;
  • care;
  • health transport;
  • private security;
  • monitoring;
  • activity of regulated travel agency;
  • direct sale of stays;
  • maritime activity;
  • legal assistance;
  • financial advice;
  • medical care.

The provider acts exclusively as a personal assistant, accompaniment and logistics coordinator.

Article 4 – Reservations

The services can be validated by:

  • estimate;
  • contract;
  • email;
  • written message;
  • order form.

A deposit may be required.

Reservation becomes effective after validation.

Article 5 – Pricing

Prices are expressed in euros.

The following may be charged:

  • time of presence;
  • overtime;
  • movement;
  • fuel;
  • tolls;
  • parking;
  • accommodation;
  • meal;
  • banknotes;
  • visas;
  • taxes;
  • international fees;
  • local guides;
  • port charges;
  • third party benefits.

Any expenses incurred on behalf of the client shall remain at his expense.

Article 6 – Transport and VTC

Mobility and transport services shall be carried out in accordance with the applicable regulations after obtaining the necessary authorisations.

Benefits include:

  • transfers;
  • accompaniments;
  • circuits;
  • invited assistance;
  • private travel;
  • Event mobility.

Prior booking required.

Waiting time and associated charges may be charged.

Article 7 – Travel and international

For international services, the customer remains responsible for:

  • passports;
  • visas;
  • vaccines;
  • insurance;
  • authorizations;
  • Administrative documents.

EXCELSIOR & SOURTESY can assist the customer in certain formalities without the obligation of result.

Article 8 – Liability

The claimant is subject to an obligation of means.

It cannot be held responsible for:

  • delays;
  • cancellations of transport;
  • weather;
  • strikes;
  • administrative decisions;
  • Third-party incidents;
  • political events;
  • local restrictions;
  • indirect losses.

Article 9 – Personal property

Client remains responsible for:

  • baggage;
  • jewelry;
  • species;
  • passports;
  • documents;
  • materials;
  • valuables.

Article 10 – Confidentiality

EXCELSIOR & ROUTESY has strict confidentiality regarding:

  • identity;
  • movement;
  • stays;
  • residences;
  • habits;
  • family information;
  • heritage;
  • clients.

No information will be transmitted without the client's consent.

Article 11 – Cancellation

  • More than 7 days: according to agreement.
  • 72 hours to 7 days: up to 50%.
  • Less than 72 hours: benefit due.
  • International benefits: possible special conditions.

Article 12 – Insurance

EXCELSIOR & SOURTESY declares that it has the professional insurance necessary for its activity.

The customer is invited to subscribe to:

  • Travel insurance;
  • assistance;
  • health;
  • repatriation;
  • Civil liability.

Article 13 – Applicable law

These Terms and Conditions are subject to French law.

An amicable search will be preferred before any procedure.

The competent court is that of the registered office of the claimant.
